История: Frederick Bernas из Великобритании
Читайте историю Frederick Bernas и узнаете больше об активных членах TakingITGlobal в Великобритании.
"...The politicians need waking up quickly, or else they run the risk of wasting our democratic luxury. The solution can be found in youth organizations, comprised of individuals striving to make a difference. Continuing our important work and ignoring the unfair lack of recognition we receive is the only option. As long as this occurs, awareness can only grow. Eventually, no matter how long it takes, we will achieve the goal. Young people working hard on brilliant things cannot be ignored forever..."

Our Disability Theme continues - remember the Global Gallery competition
Our current theme focuses on Disabilities. Check it out if you haven't already at https://www.tigweb.org/themes/disability
Also a reminder that the the Global Gallery invites submissions on the body and disability! The purpose of this collection is to raise consciousness on the representation of disability in society and to showcase the work of artists with disabilities. Artists are encouraged to subvert stereotypical representations of disability by presenting alternate realities through photographs, paintings, sculptures, pottery, illustrations, and other visual art forms.
The contest will consist of two prizes: an overall prize and a special award for disability artists. This contest closes on April 30, 2006. Further informational can be found at: http://gallery.tigweb.org/contest
